Anatria3D — licensing notice ============================ Anatria3D is educational software. It is NOT a medical device, and it is not for diagnosis or treatment of any person. The application — Business Source License 1.1 --------------------------------------------- Licensor: Nurdzhan Kerimov (Digital Rose). Copyright (c) 2026. Free of charge for study, teaching and academic research, and for non-commercial evaluation by healthcare professionals. Any other production use — a commercial clinic or healthcare business, any revenue-generating environment, re-branding, or distribution as part of a paid product or service — requires a commercial licence. Write to anatria@digitalrose.org. This version converts to the Apache License, Version 2.0 four years after its release, on the Change Date stated in the LICENSE file installed with the application, which holds the full terms. The licence above covers the application's own code, and nothing else. The anatomy below is third-party material under its own licences, which this one does not restrict. The 3D meshes and the anatomical nomenclature shipped with this application are not original to it. They come from two unrelated open datasets, under two different licences, and they are kept in separate files for that reason. Male atlas — Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 -------------------------------------------------------- Files: `anatomy/manifest.json`, `anatomy/*_male.glb` 1. BodyParts3D The Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS), Japan CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan — https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.1/jp/ 2. Z-Anatomy — the libre 3D atlas of anatomy, derived from BodyParts3D CC BY-SA 4.0 — https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ https://www.z-anatomy.com/ 3. Anatria3D adaptations — headless Blender export to glTF binary, modifiers baked in, lossy Draco compression, materials dropped in favour of shading applied by the viewer, stable organ identifiers added, and an anatomical hierarchy derived from Z-Anatomy's own collection nesting. As adaptations of CC BY-SA 4.0 material these files are themselves licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Redistributing these files, in this application or apart from it, requires preserving this attribution and keeping them under CC BY-SA 4.0. Female atlas — Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 ------------------------------------------------ Files: `anatomy/manifest_female.json`, `anatomy/*_female.glb` The trunk — spine, abdominal organs, pelvis and breast, 264 structures. Not a whole body, because no open dataset provides a female one. 1. Visible Human Female U.S. National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health The Visible Human Project — the dataset everything below derives from. https://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/visible/visible_human.html 2. Human Reference Atlas 3D Reference Organ Library HuBMAP Consortium / NIH — https://humanatlas.io/ Digital object ref-organ/united-female v1.5 CC BY 4.0 — https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ 3. Anatria3D adaptations — 264 of 888 structures selected, node hierarchy flattened with transforms baked in, materials and UV sets dropped, lossy Draco compression, stable organ identifiers added, and each structure matched by hand to a Terminologia Anatomica term. As adaptations of CC BY 4.0 material these files remain CC BY 4.0. Redistributing these files requires preserving this attribution. There is no share-alike obligation on them. **The two atlases must not be merged into one file.** Folding CC BY material into a CC BY-SA work forces share-alike onto it, imposing a condition the HRA's authors chose not to impose. The full notice ships alongside the data, in `anatomy/NOTICE` and `anatomy/LICENSE`. The nomenclature of both is Terminologia Anatomica 2 Latin and clinical English only. No localised medical terminology is stored or redistributed here; translation is performed at runtime by the AI assistant for the reader in front of it. Application source code — earlier versions ------------------------------------------- The licence for this version's code is the Business Source License 1.1 stated at the top of this notice, and its full text ships as LICENSE. Versions of Anatria3D up to and including 0.4.0 were published under the Apache License, Version 2.0, and remain under it. The Apache text ships as LICENSES/Apache-2.0.txt, because it is also the licence this version converts to on its change date. The licences do not merge: the code is under the Business Source License 1.1, the anatomy is under CC BY-SA 4.0 and CC BY 4.0, and redistributing the anatomy keeps it under those licences whatever you do with the code. Bundled components ------------------ The application bundles a Python runtime and third-party Python packages, each under its own licence. Their licence files are installed alongside them, under `anatria-engine/_internal/`. Your own data ------------- Notes, saved sessions and case results are written to a local SQLite database in your user profile. Nothing is uploaded. The only data that leaves the machine is the text of a question you send, which goes to the AI provider whose API key you supplied.
